The US presidential election has been driven into chaos after President Trump and his wife, Melania tested COVID Positive.
President Donald Trump took to twitter to convey this message after he had to cancel a major Presidential election campaign event in the states of Florida.
Melani Trump has also tweeted that they are taking measures to go into quarantine immediately and have postponed all their upcoming public engagements.
The US President and his wife were tested after the White House Counselor Hope Hicks began to show COVID symptoms. Trump supporters have expressed deep concerns despite the reassuring messages taking into account his age and underlining health issues.
Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley who is the president’s personal doctor has given out a statement assuring that the president and first lady are both well and are remaining confined within the White House in Washington DC.
He has also assured that he along with the country’s greatest medical professional will maintain a vigilant watch over them and make sure that the president’s duties are not disrupted during his process of recovery.
With only a month away from the Election, it seems that Trumps plans to join rallies to galvanize his supporters will be compromised.
