After the brutal killing of George Floyd by an American police officer, thousands of people over the world start creating massacre on the streets and began protesting on human rights. Dipto Paul Reports.
English winger and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jadon Sancho revealed a slogan on his undershirt “Justice for George Floyd” after scoring for Borussia Dortmund against Paderborn.
While Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Thuram takes a knee on Sunday after the goal celebration against Union Berlin.
Both players shared their tribute to George Floyd in their social media post.
Sancho wrote, “We shouldn’t fear speaking out for what’s right, we have to come together as one and fight for justice. We are stronger together!”
“Together is how we move forward, together is how we make a change #BLACK_LIVES_MATTERS,” Thuram tweeted after the game.
Dortmund full-back Achraf Hamiki also displayed a tribute to Floyd in the same match with Paderborn and later tweeted: “together we will defeat racism! Justice.”
The Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster tweeted: “This is way deeper than just pointing out who’s staying quiet and who’s speaking up. Unfortunately for us black/brown people etc, this is a real-life & everyday occurrence in so many different ways.”
