Kew Gardens’ celebration of the orchid returns for its 23rd year, with a focus on the plant life of Thailand from Feb 10- Mar 11. The tropical greenhouse will be bursting with colourful species. 2018’s highlights include hanging orchid bouquets, handcrafted floating Thai umbrellas and an impressive sounding Bang Pa-In inspired orchid palace and walk through beautiful arches and tunnels decorated with rare orchids. Breathe in the fragrance of hundreds of beautiful flowers and discover the importance of orchids in Thai medicine, cuisine and culture. This is also a chance to try botanical cocktails, catch live traditional dance performances, enjoy a Thai massage, and even take part in insect tastings!
