Bangladeshi young filmmaker Razib Ahsan’s debut feature film based on the 1971 liberation war, “Namhin Gotrohin,”. The film is based on a short story of the same title written by eminent author Hasan Azizul Huq. The storyline depicts a story of how a common man saw the war one night during 1971. The project primarily received funding for a short film from the Bangladesh government last year. Razib, the film’s director and producer later on decided to release the film in both a short and a feature length version. He is currently shooting both versions at once, mainly in Old Dhaka and and is looking for a mid 2019 release.
