Being already the star of two huge series, Michael B. Jordan has been framed to play the Tom Clancy character as John Clark in a new film series.
The 31-year-old actor, Clark is the main star of two devoloping films which is based on Clancy books “Rainbow Six” and “Without Remorse”. “Without Remorse” will be the first film of the two, serving as an origin story for the character.
Clark first seen in the 1987 novel The Cardinal of the Kremlin and is a former Navy SEAL and director of the elite counterterrorism unit Rainbow Six. Clark is the late Clancy’s second most popular character after Jack Ryan, who recently came to the small screen in a John Krasinski-toplined series for Amazon.
And the Hollywood star has admitted he wants to spend more time behind the camera in the coming years.
“For me, producing and creating opportunities and telling stories is something that I’ve always been fascinated with”, said Jordan.
The actor has become a box-office force in his own right, powering franchises like Creed, and serving a key role as the villain in Marvel’s Black Panther.
Jordan will appear in “Creed 2” this November, a sequel to his 2015 backout film.
