Irregular Folk Festivals is for adult folks doing something different and thinking independently. It’s a boundary breaking program of great, unique music and other art forms to tantalize the ears and eyes, including art, comedy, poetry and film.
Featuring another bill brimming with artists of the esoteric and eccentric, some guest speakers of the seriously strange variety, cerebral cinema showings, plus palate-popping delicacies and more, the refreshingly different, adult-only festival arrives on 7th – 8th July.
The festival is about to happen in the heart of Oxfordshire. This event will not only be taking place across two days, but will also be pitching up at an exciting new site, as hosted by The Oxford Artisan Distillery, Oxford.
The event will be hosted by the inimitable gag-slinging comedy outlaw Paul Foot and the entertainments show will happen across two individual stages.
Taking stage on The Music Tent, July 7 offers all day entertainment featuring Bas Jan- the latest all-female alt-chamber-pop-punk project from Serafina Steer, all-female alt-chamber-pop-punk project from Serafina Steer, Jazz-tinged RnB of accomplished double bass player Bellatrix, Jon Ouin, Alice Haughton, Despicable Zee and Sephine Llo.
Over at The Odditorium stage, revelers will be able to expand their knowledge at a number of talks selected by the delightfully deranged mind of Dr Bramwell, Tim Pilcher, Jen Rowe, Mara Gold, Ben Bailey, Jake Swinhoe and more.
Following the festivities on the Saturday, July 8, The Lazy Sunday Film Day offers a collaboration with the local, independent and very brilliant cult cinema experience at Ultimate Picture Palace.
In the festival mouth-watering food stall like Brighton’s bohemian Bread For Life Mobile Pizzeria, artisan pick me ups courtesy of the Jericho Coffee Traders, T.O.A.D. beer stocked bars, popcorn and more will be there.
The tickets are available in online and at Truck Store. The ticket pricing start from £15 to £30.
