Frieze Art Fair features more than 170 contemporary art galleries, and the fair also includes specially commissioned artists’ projects, an interactive programme and an artist-led education schedule. It is the place to be for buyers, sellers, or anyone with an eye for new art, including ancient Egyptian artifacts, Old Master paintings, medieval sculptures and avant-grade works.
This year, it will be held on 4 – 7 Oct, at Regent’s Park in London and will also include a special section, “Social Work,” dedicated to female artists working during the 1980s. The presentations in that section will be selected by eleven UK based art historians, critics, and curators. Some 160 galleries will bring their wares to the Frieze London fair, with some 130 more showing at Frieze Masters. The fair takes place in parallel with the FRIEZE and offers a varied spectrum of information, entertainment and experiences for over 4 days to over 60,000 visitors and ticket price is £60.
