This should be a terrible idea.
One time Misfits naughty boy Glenn Danzig doing an album of the
King’s finest works will have many grimacing. Indeed there are some shocking lows here.
Oddly the dark one manages to pull off some pretty classy renditions too which balances things out a bit.
Vocally it’s all quite respectable, at least most of the time. Crucially it’s also respectful. Danzig may not have entirely taken leave of his senses with this album after all
