Mark Blum
American Obie Award-winning theatre actor Mark Blum, 69, who recently starred in the TV show “You,” died on March 26 from health complications related to the coronavirus. Mark Blum, a veteran stage actor known for films including “Desperately Seeking Susan” and “Crocodile Dundee”.
Nashom Wooden
Nashom Wooden, known by the drag community as Mona Foot, died on March 23 at the age of 50, of an illness that was believed to be the novel coronavirus, though there is confusion about the actual cause. While Wooden lived with HIV for several years, it had dropped to undetectable levels before he died.
Terrence McNally
Terrence McNally, a Tony Award-winning American playwright, died on March 24 of health complications related to the coronavirus. McNally was a lung cancer survivor living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Lucia Bosè
Lucia Bosè, an Italian actress, died at 89 of pneumonia on March 23, and a Spanish news outlet called 5TeleCinco reported that she was infected with COVID-19. The actress is much admired in two landmark films of the 1950s: Michelangelo Antonioni’s first feature, Cronaca di un Amore (Story of a Love Affair, 1950), and Juan Antonio Bardem’s Muerte de un Ciclista (Death of a Cyclist, 1955).
